Service Advisor - Donford Motorrad Cape Town

Main Purpose of the Role:

To strive in providing customers with a professional service experience whilst ensuring adequate communication between customers, parts and service departments in achieving customer satisfaction goals

Key Performance Areas: 

  • Prepare for the arrival of the customer and vehicle
  • Prepare accurate job cards, cost estimates, and service recommendations
  • Taking care of customer at initial consultation upon arrival
  • Update Dealer Management System, track all vehicles and update control systems
  • Regular Liaison with customers
  • Liaise between customers, technicians, and parts departments
  • Handle customer queries, complaints, and follow-ups professionally
  • Maintain accurate service records and customer data
  • Ensure accurate invoice payments
  • Professional Vehicle hand over
  • Customer follow – up and reminders
  • Attend weekly service meetings

The incumbent should display a “passion for dealing with people” and should continuously strive to promote a professional business image. The incumbent must assist fellow employees wherever possible and promote the services and products that the business has to offer. The incumbent should offer the Customer an overall service experience which exceeds their expectations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years in a similar position within a motor dealership would be a distinct advantage
  • Senior Certificate Grade 12.
  • Motorbike License (Code A) prefered,  and must have own transport
  • Technical qualification and/or aptitude would be advantageous.
