Donford Motorrad Cape Town - Rider Gear and Accessories Sales Executive 

Role Objective:

To optimise rider gear and accessories sales opportunities with optimum profitability and maximum customer satisfaction, through the availability and delivery of selected items.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • To optimise (external) sales opportunities with optimum profitability and maximum customer satisfaction through the availability and delivery of correct items.
  • Compile cash outstanding report
  • Compile work-in-progress report
  • Compile daily sales report
  • RFC’s (return for credit)
  • Ensure effective product knowledge (rider gear and accessories) and understanding of specifications and benefits
  • Explain technical details in a simple and understandable manner and highlight benefits to add value
  • Ensure correct pricing is indicated
  • Ensure rider gear is displayed correctly and to BMW standards
  • Ensure all rider gear to be packed away before close of business
  • Contact possible new/existing customers regularly (i.e. email, or phone etc)
  • Actively market/advertise products and the brand to existing/non-existing BMW group customers, continuous brand/product awareness
  • Receive, welcome and attend to all walk-in customers
  • Attend to general telephonic enquiries professionally
  • Establish customer needs by asking open questions, actively listening and taking notes
  • Ensure the workstation is clean and tidy at all times

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Minimum of 2 years working experience as a Parts Sales Executive in an automotive Dealership would be preferrred
  • Driver’s license and own transport
  • Knowledge of motorcycles and rider gear would be advantageous
