BMW Motorrad Stellenbosch - Parts Sales Executive
Role Objective:
To optimise motorcycle rider gear and parts sales opportunities with optimum profitability and maximum customer satisfaction, through the availability and delivery of correct parts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect for new customers and maintain existing customer relationships
- Identify the availability of stock and manage non stocking item orders.
- Present parts and rider gear correctly and to BMW standard
- Order and locate parts and accessories accurately and timeously
- Issue motorcycle parts according to job card
- Order special orders and receive special orders
- Ensure effective product knowledge (parts and rider gear) and understanding
- Explain technical details in a simple and understandable manner to customers and highlight benefits to add value
- Ensure correct pricing is indicated
- Ensure all Rider Gear to be packed away before close of business
- Contact possible new/existing customers regularly (i.e. email, or phone etc)
- Actively market/advertise products and the brand to existing/non-existing BMW group customers, continuous brand/product awareness
- Receive, welcome and attend to all walk-in (external) customers
- Attend to general telephonic enquiries professionally
- Establish customer needs by asking open questions, actively listening and taking notes
- Ensure the workstation is clean and tidy at all times
- Ensure all risk(financial and non-financial) are minimised and security awareness is maintained
- Attend Monthly Departmental meetings.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Minimum of 2 years working experience as a Parts Sales Executive in an automotive Dealership would be preferred
- Driver’s license
- Knowledge of motorcycles, motorcycle parts and rider gear would be advantageous
